Please note that GP Future has no affiliation with any of the companies listed anywhere in this website. We do not earn any commission from them, nor do we have gain anything by promoting them.
Whilst networking with riders, teams and suppliers, it seemed that both riders/teams and suppliers should be able to benefit from each other. We are not advocating "something for nothing" here. Suppliers/sponsors are inundated with demands for support from riders who tell those suppliers that they will promote their company in exchange for free stuff.
If a company already supplies, say, a BSB team, how can club racers hope to provide better publicity? The truth is they can't so, when GP Future approaches companies at race circuits or trade shows, we instead ask them to consider major discounts/supply at cost for "our" riders, in exchange for stickers and other promotional tools to be clearly displayed on their bikes and websites. To date, all the suppliers we have spoken to have been willing to agree to this.
Whilst every rider would like to get free stuff (and some suppliers will provide a few things for free, with persuasion), if GP Future can at least ease the financial burden by getting discounts for riders, it would be a start. We have spoken with a number of companies we met at race meetings and bike shows, all of whom expressed interest in supporting the proposal of a "GP Future" discount scheme.
