Row's Pedigree
Row started riding at age 9 in the Portsmouth Motocross Club Auto championship. In his first season he progressed from the back of the pack to a number of top 5 finishes.
In his second season of MX he moved up to the 65cc geared class (junior). Once again he progressed well, ending the season in 9th place overall in the Hants & Dorset Youth MX championship and 19th in the hotly contested Portsmouth championship.
2006 saw Row concentrate on the Hants & Dorset championship. During the early part of the season he qualified for the National semi-finals but a bad day put paid to his hope of making the finals. During the season, Row has never been out of the top 10 in the Hants and Dorset championship and has done everything but win a race, finally ending up 3rd in the series.
Since the age of five, Row has always held that he wants to road race, his ultimate ambition being to compete at MotoGP level. 2007 was the start of that long road. Row is currently hard at training on his minimoto. In December 2006, he was invited to race at his local track. Having had only three hours on the bike, he duly won his two heat races then proceeded to win the final.
Row competed all over the country in the 2007 Metrakit series. To do a bit of name dropping, Bradley Smith raced Metrakit before getting picked for the MotoGP Academy and a certain Dani Pedrosa also competed in this series.
