2008 - What To Do Next?
The GP Future campaign has been quiet over winter, with Steve & Mark being kept busy at work & on personal projects. However, we've still been talking with people and will be formulating a strategy for the coming season.
- The Rider Showcase page is building well since it was added to the site. We'd like to ask riders with showcase links to get in touch and update us with any news about their activities, whether it be testing, sponsors (or not), plans for 2008, etc. We will be adding a "Rider Reports" page to the site, devoted specifically to rider news. Whilst we will be contacting riders, we'd also like them to get in touch with us. If you have any 2008 updates, please get in touch with
- We still want more riders in the Showcase page. We want to be in a position to pitch the showcase list in front of potential suppliers/supporters, with the view of getting some deals for riders. Our belief is that the more riders we have on the list, the more backers are likely to be interested.
- We want to get some stickers made & are looking at two types; ones for fairings, one for car screens. If anyone is willing to talk to us about doing a deal, please contact
- We're also planning an occasional e-newsletter, independent of the GP Future site. Once we have agreed on a format, we'll post some information. For this, we'll ask people to give us a contact email address to send the letter to.
